Acudieron el pasado sábado al Congreso de los Diputados para pedir una verdadera transición eco-social
Varios colectivos ecologistas, como Ecologistas en Acción, acudieron el pasado sábado a las puertas del Congreso de los Diputados para pedir que los fondos de recuperación económica y social de la UE, Next Generation EU, se destinen a la transición eco-social, y no beneficie a las grandes corporaciones.
La preocupación de estas entidades es que, tras la falta de transparencia en el proceso, la mayor parte de los fondos se destinen a grandes corporaciones a través de colaboraciones público-privadas.
En consecuencia, piden que la ayuda recibida por el programa Next Generation EU sirva para fortalecer los servicios públicos, una transición eco-social efectiva, y una promoción de la economía social, solidaria y sostenible.
El paquete Next Generation EU aprobado en julio de 2020, establecía que España puede recibir hasta 140.000 millones de euros en los próximos seis años para la transformación económica.
