Se crea una nueva entidad organizativa que lleve a cabo y coordine los fondos del plan Next Generation EU
Navarra crea una oficina específica para organizar y coordinar las funciones que contempla el Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia de la Unión Europea (Next Generation EU).
La Oficina Next Generation, se integrará en el Departamento de Economía y Hacienda, se pone en marcha con carácter temporal y estará vigente hasta que finalice la entrega y aplicación los fondos europeos Next Generation EU. Por tanto, la oficina en cuestión no tiene vocación de convertirse en definitiva en la estructura del departamento.
El nuevo órgano realizará las funciones de coordinación, control, gestión presupuestaria, contable y financiera, así como de gestión del sistema de información de los fondos derivados del Plan Next Generation EU.
El reto marcado por Europa
Este paquete de medidas de la Unión Europea se acordó con la intención de reparar los gastos derivados de la crisis del coronavirus. Además, también tienen la intención de impulsar la convergencia, la resiliencia y la transformación en la Unión Europea (UE). La consejera de Economía y Hacienda de Navarra, Elma Saiz, ha recordado que la principal autoridad que controlará los fondos del Plan Next Generation EU, será la Intervención General de la Administración del Estado.
