The Resolution of June 20, 2023, issued by the General Secretariat of the Treasury and International Finance, has been published in the BOE on June 26, 2023. This resolution discloses the effective annual interest rate for the third calendar quarter of the year 2023, used to tax classify as explicit yield to financial assets with mixed yield, as established in articles 63 of the Corporate Income Tax Regulations and 91 of the Personal Income Tax Regulations.
The reference rates applicable to the third calendar quarter of 2023 are as follows:
The yields for financial assets during the third calendar quarter of 2023 are as follows:
– For financial assets with a term equal to or less than 4 years, the yield is 2.597%.
– For financial assets with a term greater than 4 years but equal to or less than 7 years, the yield is 2.547%.
– For financial assets with a term of 10 years, the yield is 2.807%.
– For financial assets with a term of 15 years, the yield is 3.074%.
– For financial assets with a term of 30 years, the yield is 3.182%.
In the remaining cases, the interest rate corresponding to the term closest to the issue being carried out is applied.
