Tipos de inversión

Los ciudadanos nacionales de Estados terceros pueden adquirir este permiso de residencia en Portugal cumpliendo uno de los siguientes requisitos:

1. Transferencia de capital superior a € 1 millón (incluso inversión en acciones o cuotas).
2. Creación de al menos 10 puestos de trabajo.
3. Adquisición de bienes inmuebles de valor igual o superior a 500.000€.
4. Adquisición de bienes inmuebles con más de 30 años o ubicados en una área de rehabilitación urbana y realización de obras, en un valor global igual o superior a € 350.000.
5. Transferencia de capital igual o superior € 350.000 que sea aplicado en actividad de investigación científica o tecnológica.
6. Transferencia de capital igual o superior € 250.000 que sea aplicado en inversión o apoyo a la actividad artística, recuperación y manutención del patrimonio cultural nacional a través de entidades públicas.
7. Transferencia de capital igual o superior € 500.000 para la adquisición de unidades de participación en fondos de inversión o capital de riesgo volcados para la capitalización de las pequeñas y medianas empresas.

La visa de inversionista es asignada por un período de 1 año y luego renovado por dos períodos sucesivos de dos años.

Ventajas

• No es necesario obtener un visado para entrar en Portugal.
• No es necesario obtener un visado para viajar en Europa (espacio de Schengen).
• Es posible vivir y trabajar en Portugal, manteniendo la residencia en un país diferente.
• Los períodos de estancia mínima son muy bajos.
• Residencia permanente después de 5 años.
• Ciudadanía portuguesa después de 6 años.
• Residencia extendida a la familia del inversor.

Requisitos

Todos los inversionistas deben cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:

• Mantener la inversión por un período mínimo de cinco años.
• Los fondos de inversión deben provenir del exterior.
• Entrada en Portugal con un visado Schengen válido.
• Ausencia de referencias en el Servicio Portugués de Inmigración y en los servicios del espacio de Schengen.
• Ausencia de condena criminal relevante.
• Estancia mínima en Portugal de siete días, durante el primer año y catorce días en cada período posterior de dos años.

Bajo la ley portuguesa, cualquier persona con un título de residencia temporaria portugués (por ejemplo, el Visado de Oro), válido por un período de al menos cinco años, tendrá derecho a solicitar la residencia permanente en Portugal.
